Shop on Mobile is a service-based cloud solution. The service base architecture makes this application flexible, scalable and robust. All the service are independent to each other hence, on any service failure will not affect the whole application. New feature / functionality can be added anytime.We have taken care of the potential risk like:
Authentication: OTP base authentication have been used for login to the app therefore only authorised and valid user can able to login to the app.
Security: As per the security policy we stored user and seller data in encrypted format.
Data integrity and security: Prioritizing customer trust and safety, the app ensures fast and secure order delivery by leveraging nearby known shopkeepers to manage the process efficiently.
Failover: Shop On Mobile streamlines the return and refund process, enabling swift resolution for both partial and full refunds. Customers can request refunds for specific items or payments, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Technical challenge:The main objective of the shop on the mobile app is not taking any charge profit-sharing on any order from the shopkeeper. Our system directly transferred the whole payment to the retailer registered account. Payment gateway transaction charges applicable as per rules for online payment. This is major challenge as NO bank and payment gateway has implemented such use case hence, they don’t have any solution for this problem. We approach to Mobikwik, they agreed to build a solution around our use case.
KYC of the Shopkeeper: As per the agreement with the payment solution provider we have to share the KYC of every shopkeeper before enrolling for direct payment transferred to shopkeeper account. As this is very cumbersome process, we agreed with a two step process a collect the data of shopkeeper and a copy of the cancel cheque.
Financial challenge: For any business, cash play a major role as everything play around the money. As the cashflow issues hit us hard and due to that it delaying the rolling out the product. We have invested the money from saving to get this done. But we need more money to run this business. As this a potential risk for the business we are planning to raise the funds from multiple sources like VC funding, loan etc.
Marketing: Marketing is the main task to capture the market. Team is working on the Digital and Physical marketing techniques. Initially we only focus on the digital marketing where we do the social media campaign, videos, SEO, Blogging etc. But after sometime we facing challenge and observed we only reach to limited people or small groups of the society. For large audience we have to change our approach, so approach the physical marketing approach and door to door campaign. Hoping we will reach to the maximum audience.
